A shower should feel like it was always part of the room.
Pietra takes its name from the Italian word for stone. We are a specialist tile installation studio based in Kelowna, devoted to the open, curbless, floor-to-ceiling showers that define contemporary European bathrooms.
We work in large-format porcelain, travertine, marble, and limestone, and we obsess over the details most people never see: the waterproofing behind the wall, the slope beneath the floor, and the millimetres between every joint.

Why Pietra Bath
Tile is the last thing we install. It is the first thing we plan for.
Quality tile work is far more than placing tile. It is preparation, waterproofing, layout, precision cuts, alignment, grout consistency, and carefully executed finishing details. We treat each of those as a discipline.
- Waterproofing you will never see
- Bonded membranes, sealed seams, and flood-tested pans. The part of the job that protects your home for decades happens before the first tile.
- Layout planned to the millimetre
- Joints align with niches, drains, and walls. Cuts are balanced. Patterns are centred on sightlines. Nothing is left to where the wall happened to end.
- Large-format, set flat
- Substrates flattened to slab tolerances, leveling systems on every piece, and lippage you cannot feel with your fingertips.
- Mitered edges and clean finishing
- Niches and corners mitered rather than trimmed. Colour-matched grout, tooled silicone, and a final clean that leaves the room ready to use.

Substrates are flattened, showers are built and waterproofed, and every pan is flood tested.

Installation
Tile is set with leveling systems, mitered edges, and tight, consistent joints.

Finishing
Grout, sealing, silicone, and a final walkthrough with you in the finished room.
